AirCam Photography is getting off the ground.

I began flying RC helicopters in 2005. In the beginning, I was crashing more than flying. There is definitely a steep learning curve to master. Inspired by remote controlled aerial photographers and my father in law Steve, who has been into RC forever, I quickly decided that was something I had to do. There are vast applications for this type of service...not to mention that it is lots of fun. After aquiring basic flight skills, I quickly realized there is a lot more to taking GOOD aerial photos than simply strapping a camera to a helicopter, launching it up in the air, and snapping a picture. There are many variables including vibration, correct height and angle, correct camera setting, correct helicopter set up, safety/keeping the equipment in tip top shape, and more. I have managed to create some great pictures and many that are not so great. With practice, I have been able to produce better and more consistant results.

Now that I am comfortable with my flying and photography skills, it is time to focus on the business. I am currently working on a business plan and started attending Photo and Video editing night classes at the local adult school. My goal is to be able to create high quality aerial pictures, videos, panoramas, and virtual reality aerial panoramas. These could be very usefull for Developers, Realtors, Hotels, Builders, Attorneys, Insurance Companies, Advertising Agencies, Hotels and Resorts, General Businesses, Homeowners, Farms & Ranches, Golf Courses, CountryClubs, Governments, Special Events, Newspapers, Television and more.
